15-19 June 2019, Smolenice Castle, Slovakia
PhD Dr. Charlotte Steenblock (Project A06) has won the IRWIN J. KOPIN TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP and had the opportunity to attend the “12th Symposium on Catecholamines and Other Neurotransmitters in Stress”.
She gave a talk about “Nestin-Positive Adrenocortical Progenitors Support Organ Homeostasis and Play an Important Role under Stress” – Steenblock Ch., Rubin de Celis M., Delgadillo L., Kappert V., Peitzsch M., Andoniadou C.L., Bornstein S.R. (Germany, UK).
What Dr. Steenblock liked about the conference:
“It was a relatively small meeting, held in a very nice place, with around 70 participants. The atmosphere was very pleasant and after 4 days I had the opportunity to talk to almost everybody. Thereby, I had the chance to meet a lot of important people working in the stress field and getting many new contacts and potential new collaborations.”
